HEAT WAVE!

Please remember that a lot of meds can make us more susceptible to Heat Stroke, dehydration, sunburn and Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (bad). Drink water and stay inside!
If you need a cool place to go, some of the Cool Zones are open. Also, you can check to see if there will be rolling blackouts in your area on the SDGE Outage Map.

Info about how meds interact with heat:

Please be extra gentle with yourself while it’s super hot and ask your doctor if you have concerns about your medication and heat. You are always welcome to join a DBSA San Diego support group on Zoom. For extra resources call 211 or visit https://211sandiego.org/
We can do this,
